A billion dollar space probe goes missing in a wormhole stretching into another galaxy. NASA recruits Ham III, the grandson of the first chimpanzee sent into space, to join a team sent to retrieve the lost spacecraft. Initially he is a circus performer but quickly adapts to the rigorous training needed for the rescue. Together Ham, Luna, and Titan must face the merciless Intergalactic overlord Zartog to free the opressed inhabitants of the remote dictatorship.
